This vital accreditation in workplaces, schools, clubs, and the broader community plays a significant role in addressing the escalating mental health issues in Australia.

FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE

Mental Health First Aid Australia is a global, purpose-driven provider of mental health first aid education that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide support when it matters most.

Since the delivery of our first course in 2000 in Canberra, MHFA has become one of the most trusted evidence-based mental health education programs in Australia and worldwide. It has since evolved into a global movement with the program now adopted in more than 25 countries, with more than 6 million people now trained worldwide.
Steadfast commitment to research and evaluation makes MHFA global leaders in the field of mental health education.

This course equips adults with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to recognise and respond to another adult experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.

This 12 hour interactive course combines evidence-based practices and real-world applications to prepare you for real-life situations. Participants will receive accreditation as Mental Health First Aiders after successfully completing an online assessment, with certification valid for 3 years
